The EM30 is truly a phone for people who want to be a ROKR. The ModeShift keypad is just one of the unique features that Motorola offers with this phone. This feature allows the keypad to take on a new illumination and thus the key designation changes according to different contexts. This means that every action has its own dedicated key so you won’t have to remember what the same button does for every action. Using the ModeShift software the phone transforms from a phone into a dedicated music player in a snap leaving everyone who looks upon it amazed.

Some of the music-oriented features include an FM radio which is great for listening to radio DJs, Windows Media Player 11 for storing and making playlists, stereo Bluetooth for listening to music wirelessly using a headset, and finally a 3.5mm audio jack to plug headphones directly in without using an adapter. All these combined features give the EM30 an advantage over other music-playing cell phones.

Naturally there are lots of phone connections here for the times when you need to get down to business. Quad-Band GSM/GPRS/EDGE network support and Motorola Crystal Talk which improves call quality are sure-fire ways to increase productivity.
